‘Originally we were going to get married in the Fitzroy Gardens and then head to a restaurant for the reception. Then covid happened and we were still in lockdown for our original date. We decided to just keep it in the gardens on our new date regardless of numbers whether it be 10, 20, 50 people with drinks and nibbles. As restrictions eased, the guest list grew and we ended up getting Cookes food to cater. After everything that happened in 2020 we just wanted to keep it really relaxed and fun. We walked to the gardens together and mingled before our ceremony.’
